Visa Blocking Online Casino Payments

Following the lead of MasterCard, Visa has announced they will no longer accept credit card and debit card deposits made to online casinos in the US. This is no surprise since the UIGEA Law goes into effect on June 1. Although Visa and MasterCard payment methods are still shown as methods of payment at most online casino sites, there are some casinos in which accepting these two methods have not posed a problem while other US casinos have experienced holds placed on the deposits. For Vegas Technology Casinos, however, the prophetic implementation of the prepaid gift card option has made online depositing for US players a welcome option.
